ELECTRIC MOBILITY CANADA ANNOUNCES THE CREATION OF THE GRID INFRASTRUCTURE WORKING GROUP
By Anne Bourgoin
Electric Mobility Canada (EMC), Electricity Canada and Electro-Federation Canada announce the creation of a working group to facilitate collaboration between charging infrastructure providers and utilities.
Under the aegis of Canada’s Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Council, members of the group will exchange scientific data and policy strategies to support Canada’s transition to electric transportation.
“We are on the cusp of one of the most important transitions in Canada, as more and more people turn to zero-emission vehicles. Data will be essential to this transition to reduce uncertainty and improve our understanding of what we need to do to make things work. The Infrastructure to Grid working group will contribute to this,” said Francis Bradley, President and CEO of Electricity Canada.
