TOYOTA, MAZDA AND SUBARU PLAN TO CREATE NEW ENGINES

At the end of May, Japanese automakers Toyota, Mazda and Subaru announced a joint venture to develop one, or more, low-emission CO2 engines. In fact, this trio, linked by various agreements, would like to produce at least one carbon-neutral combustion engine.

Among the ideas put forward would be the creation of smaller, more efficient engines that would allow lower hoods to improve aerodynamic performance.

To illustrate the project other than with a prototype engine, one of the manufacturers presented a Subaru Crosstrek hybrid prototype in camouflage.
